I have 4 frags of Zoas there were growing wonderfully and spreading. On black Friday I ought a large piece with ~ 50 polyps. I dipped it in Bayers dip.
Half of the polyp never opened. The remaining slowly deteriorated and started to rot. I couldnt see any nudibranch despite thorough search (not at night).
Now its spreading to other frags.
beside nudibranch what other condition can inflict Zoas alone. the reast of my tank is good thanks God.
My water parameter are reasonable.

Since you said rot, I would guess that you're dealing with a bacterial infection and the "rot" is necrotic tissue. I would probably try and remove the necrotic tissue and then some healthy tissue surrounding the rot was. I'm not sure if there are any medications you could use, so I would wait for some advice from others.

Could be a fish with an appetite. I would keep eyes on nudibranch eggs. Little swirls. They are nocturnal so i would check midnight. Only reason im saying this is because you mentioned it spread to other zoas
