I'm currently stocking my 55g tank and have so far got 2 clown fish and a bicolour blenny

Future tank mates are most likely going to be;
Clown goby
2 or 3 wrasse - from Christmas wrasse/melanurus wrasse/yellow wrasse
Royal gramma
Scooter blenny

I really want a blue coloured fish and love the yellow tail blue damsels but have been totally put off by their potential aggression so wondering if anyone has suggestions for something that might be suitable to go with the above fish? (corals will be added too)

Chalk bass (though not sure if I'd need to ditch the royal gramma as they are too similar?) and assessor fish are ones I'm thinking about

Thanks

Springeri Damsel, blue/black pattern and is one of the only non-ahole damsels I know of.

Other mostly blue reef safe fish would be something like a blue tang if you like those, I would suggest a blue dwarf angel but most arent reef safe.

Cherub Angelfish :thumbsup: Oh and the Damsels are *******s in a small tank like under 100 gallons.

With your stock list I think a yellow tail damsel will be fine. If you're really concerned about it though you could look into a blue assessor.

Careful with the scooter. That's not a blenny, it's a dragonet, and they starve very easily in smaller tanks.

You can get a yellowtail blue if you add it last, they aren't horribly aggressive. Just don't get one with yellow on its stomach, that's a yellow-belly devil.
