I just recieved some Eco-Rock from Bulk Reef Supply to set up a new tank. Can I just put it in my new tank and put in some of my live rock from a current tank and it will spread to my dry rock? Do I need to add any source of ammonia to get the rock to cycle or would it just spread on its own? If this makes sence at all.

If I'm not mistaken adding something (a cocktail shrimp for example) as an ammonia source, only encourages the cycle to begin faster. Your new rock should start to cycle on it's own given some time. Put your new rock into your tank (I'm guessing you are starting a new tank?) and add a few small pieces of live rock from your established system. Sit back and be patient, as hard as that is to do :) The bacteria will colonize the new rock, and in time any corraline algae will spread aswell.
