Whats the best replacement pump for a CS 180 Euro reef skimmer?

I just had 2 sedras go out on me and I was wondering if there are better skimmer pumps out there?

I saw that Euro Reef is now using Dolphin pumps instead of Sedras? Anyone have expereince with Dolphin pumps? Are they better than the Sedras? I have had to sedras go recently and I am contenplating changing pumps rather than replacing...

I had heard that the Dolphin and sedra are one in the same. I could be wrong, however that's what I heard.

I have the EV180 and am using an Eheim 1262 on it. Took off the gate valve and put a 1.5 inch tee on it so it dumps directly into the sump. Works great.

FWIW

(And is it just me, or is that output barb on the Eheim suck? Getting a 3/4 inch hose on it is a royal PAIN...)

Thanks gang, I appreciate the feedback. Just FYI... I spoke to Euro Reef and they still recommend the Sedra 5000 for thw CS180 skimmer. I guess for this particular skimmer they are still using the sedra 5000... Just thought I'd share that info.
