whats the best tds meter??

Ok found it on ebay 92 bucks. Why is this so good? Accuracy is same as others only at +/- 2%. Waterproof.

are their cheaper ones like this?

There are usually some on there. If you want the best, read the tech sheets on it at www.tdsmeter.com . There is nothing else like it and it's well worth the $45 to $50 it costs and then some. No other meter can be calibrated in three modes for extreme low end accuracy. Why calibrate a TDS meter at 442 or 1000 TDS when you are measuring less than 1 TDS with DI water?

I just punched in com-100 on e-bay and it came back with 4 of them at auction. $49.95 with free shipping, thats about the going price.

$92 on ebay? ouch. Try the filter guys. I like the com100 as well. works right out of the box, calibrates with a button - no screwdriver, and is super easy to pop in your sample and have a reading in a few seconds.

Ok I just recieved my HM Digital COM-100 . Nice little tool. My questions:

Tap water tds: 70ppm

Output water: 7ppm

Whats strange is when i drop in a heaping teaspoon of deionization resin, the tds climbs a little and does not drop at all? Thats in a cup of ro water. Does the resin effect the meter while in the cup? Is this brand new di resin working, or did i get scammed? I have the meter set on ppm and IIRC NaCl standard. Not sure wich its supposed to be on NaCl, or the other 2. LOL why does my RO unit suck really bad? What is that? 60% removal

Help guys.

Anybody?

AZDesertRat where are you? :D

Im concered that my di resin is not working. Does the resin reduce tds instantly, or does it need to sit for an hour.
