Whats the best way to cut Acrylic

The gaps between the teeth on my over flow are only 1/8" wide and not enough for the flow I have. I would like to make them at least 1/4". What is the best tool to make this work?

Not really but similar. Can you still remove your overflow or is it permanently in the tank?

pneumatic cut off wheel if you have air tools

I used my chop saw and it worked great! I will try it in the morning and see if it works

Try an ax next time, I've heard they give a cleaner cut
