whats the coolest thing you bought for your fish tank?

I really wanted to go in the garage so I could have a storage bin, but no drain for waste.
Sorry about the hijack ynnho.

My RODI unit is in the house where there is a drain, and I run tubing to the garage in two places where I have storage bins, and then again from the RODI to the fish tank, all in wall. It's not very hard to do, just like fishing an electrical wire or speaker wire. I guess you could also put the unit in the garage, and run a tube to the drain in the house...or run the drain into a storage container you could use for irrigation directly from the garage!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I though 0 was the goal for TDS? I know 7 is not as high a Tucson's 220-250 (via results of my test), but Johnny is running phosphate busters in most of those stages which normally doesn't contribute to TDS numbers.

Zero is what I'm going for! the phosphates and silicate busters are pluses

I have to say my powder brown tang is the coolest think I bought for my tank. In terms of hardware, I just built a water change station in my garage, it sure beats making RO/DI in 5 gallon incriments!!! It isn't completely automated, but it is going to be at some point. Gotta crawl before I walk!!
