What's the difference between Gen 2 Pro and Gen 3 Pro?

Can you be a bit more specific Bc I dont know about anybody else But I'm confused now in the naming as to which one is which now that the newest one is out.
I mean it looks like what we were calling a "Pro" is now a "G3" and the newest one is a "G3 Pro"

here are the specs, note the royal blue/ deep blue and white leds have changed
also the form factor design has changed, no more crappy capcaptive buttons
as far as side by side appearance over a tank, i haven't been able to find any info on that you would think if it was a dramatic improvement/un-improvement someone would have made a review on it by now

I got a gen 3 this weekend. It is sitting in a box. I am going to set it up and see how it differs from gen 2. I am excited.

Reading the specs it looks like the main difference is how they are worded. i.e. White: 8 Cree XT-E Cool White (5w each) vs. Cool White: 8 Cree XP-G2 (40W)
To me it looks like the XT and XP may be some type of bulb change. Maybe more reliable? Better output? Who knows.
The big difference is obviously the looks of the fan. I like it. But, it isn't enough for me to upgrade.

Yeah i have a gen1 and i am debating on the upgrade. And then should i do the pro vs the regular gen 3. Anyone have any side by side pics?
