What's the difference between Stylopora and Pocillopora

Just like the question says,

I want to buy a pink coral. I don't know what the difference between the pink pocillopora and the pink stylopora corals are. What are the care differences and requirements?

i think the difference is the size of the branches. stylo has thicker branches.

and both are pretty easy to keep. but I gotta agree with others that pocill grow and spawn like crazy.

They are both Pocilloporidae family members, along with Seriatapora, so they are cousins. As far as poci's being invasive, there are a few species that are brooders (self-planulate), that are generally better avoided (P. damicornis is the most common). Otherwise, all 20+ species in the family, are pretty darn similar.

No. Again, only a few species will brood, but P. damicornis is all over the market. If you find something like P. eudoxie, jump on it

Isn't it funny how fast we find out we just bought some crab grass. GSP is really cool, but I yanked mine real quick.

Wish I knew what you were talking about....I have not paid much attention to proper names. Hard finding info on then. I googled eudoxie but no luck. I'm still a rookie, I'll have to start learning proper names. Would you hapen to have a good guide handy?
