Whats the "Easiest" way to do a large water change

HI guys, how do you do large water changes?

RODI close to the tank? how do you dispose of old reeftan water? how do you vacum water from the tank? how do you put new water in the tank?

Im just looking for some advise since I have a small 34g tank that will soon be over 120g on the second floor of my house.

I will probably set up a RODI on the second floor, also might dispose water trough a hose to the garden over the second floor or maybe to the drain on one of the toilets on the second floor.

What ideas can you guys give me since the water changes is whats keeping me from upgrading to a large tank.

I have a reservoir tank that is normally connected to my 120. When I want to change the water I simply close the values connecting it to the 120, drain the reservoir tank , fill it with RODI, mix in the salt , and open the values up slowly over a day or so.

My RODI tank is way off in the garage and I use a hose to move the water to my reservoir tank. I dump old water in a nearby sink via hose and pump.
