What's the most confusing thing about Photoshop?

Hey guys,

I'm writing an article on how to use (and how not to use) Photoshop to improve your aquarium photos, and I'd like some help. For those of you who have used it, what do you find the hardest to do? What is confusing? Is there something you'd love to know how to do, but no one has ever showed you?

Thanks :)

I may be able to get an Adobe trainer to speak at a meeting...let's discuss at tonights meeting...

That would be sweet. :)

Bill, that article is really good.

For the article I'm writing, I think I am heading in a different direction. Most of the problems I see are from people with a much lower level of expertise than you guys have--things like oversharpening, not being able to color correct naturally, messing up resolution issues, how to get rid of that nasty smudge on the glass ... More on how to make your photo look spectacular and natural, and less on tricks and effects.

though tricks and effects are fun too...

Then I would teach people how to do that stuff as well as actions. Actions make life much easier.

Yeah that's a good one too. I don't know how you work with multiple pictures and/or text without layers.

I might not be able to make tonights meeting, so I'll give this a "yes" vote now ;)
