Whats the name of that RO-DI company?

No problem. I am about 3 years into the system now. I have TDS of less then 5 usually and I do not use DI.

The other really good RO/DI company is "RandalB"

last i heard from him he wasnt doing them anymore.

I only "Do them" For locals or a good trade, but I am retired from "Doing it" as a business.

Walter at www.airwaterice.com is a good guy who makes good equipment.

RandalB

PS: Give me a call Ed....

I must live in China =) LOL

i would prefer to get mine from a company new as if there is a problem with it i would rather deal with that company with warranty issues then a local. as i can be quite anal. =)

I don't blame you for not wanting to do side jobs tho, one of the reasons i stopped wrenching in my garage, to many people wanting something for free.

I got mine from airwaterice. The Typhoon III. They let me sub the in-line TDS meter for the hand held, Only a $15 differance. Well worth it to me. Great equipment. TDS in is around 320, out 0 ZERO

Moto,
Stay away from Ebay then....

Go with Walter or Spectrapure and you'll have plenty of top notch support whenever you need, I understand completely. I wind up having to travel a couple of weeks a month and it would be a problem if you needed assistance and I was unavailable.

If you go with Airwaterice, tell Walter I sent you. He'll give you a hookup...

Ya i'm not the best when it comes to hooking up a RO system, tho i have done it for drinking water under my sink, I'm sure i can figure this out.

i was planning on going with AWI as there prices seem to be reasonable, and seems like i would be getting everything i would need to get the job done.

once i have my RO-DI unit i am that one step closer to getting this FOWLR going.

Thanks Randal

Joe =)

My only problem with the Typhoon III was the Universal Adapter set I got with it didn't have an adapter that worked for my faucet. Save the $7 and if you need to get it local. Found something that worked in the dishwasher area of True Value.

I like the Typhoon III, wouldn't get anything else.
