What's the quickest way to drive us nuts?

OK....You come into work (or home), and notice water at the base of your tank. :eek2:

Geesh, I can find any sign of the tank leaking, but two paper towels laying on my desktop were soaked this morning.though, it doesn't appear to be 'missing' any water from the tank......URGH!
To make matters worse, I'm leaving Saturday to go out of town. :(

anything missing from the tank? something could have jumped out or something could have been trying to catch a snack.

Nah.....I've only got one fish and corals. Weird.....it's been dry since I inspected it. Maybe the tank moving around did something.....I dunno.
I'd imagine that it won't leak again until I leave for the day or weekend.

do you have other animals?

Just co-workers......so I guess that means 'yes, some'.

It hasn't leaked since, so I'm guessing that moving the tank either pushed something flush again, or more likely, when I took the top off this morning, the condensation dripped on the outside of the tank. This may sound much more likely, but it's never happened before, and there was too much moisture on the desktop.

Funny that you have the same problem as I did yesterday. I noticed a small puddle of water by my refuge. I looked around for leaks, dried it up and looked some more. Nothing......??? So while I am looking everywhere for about an hour, the Auto topoff pump comes on and doesn't go off very quickly like usual. I look under the tank again and the hose from the topoff to the refuge is squirting water straight up and half of the water is landing outside the refuge.....what a relief and I am glad I was there to catch it......
