whats the right mantis for me?

Hey everybody, mantis shrimp have interested me for a longggg time and I finally want to setup a nano tank for one, what would be the best mantis for a 5-7gal tank...I'm looking for one that is really active and vibrant in color wouldn't hurt , I don't know if a smasher or spearer would be best? any help would be very appreciated thanks a lot..

The cheap, available and hearthy answer is Neogonodactylus wennerae or N. oerstedii. The flashy answer would be Gonodactylus smithii or Gonodactylaceus ternatensis. If available, Gonodactylaceus glabrous or G. graphurus would be good choices. If you want a spearer, Pseudosquilla ciliata is really the only choice available.
