must be fiji live rock? I had some of those on mine about five years ago. I believe it is a galazea astreata. does it have small clearish polyps that come out?

Pavona Maldivensis (my main guess), Astreopora, or Cyphastrea?

Yes, that piece is Fijian. It does have very small clear tentacles on each polyp, giving it almost an Aiptasia like appearance, but I've never seen them extended.

But then again, galaxea astreata rarely ever extends its polyps during the day, which is why I might have never seen it doing so.

definatly colony coral they are a stinging coral like a torch coral

Might be Astreopora, looks very much like some pictures of it I found on Wet Web Media. Can you guys verify this for sure?

look up collony coral!!! I have lots of it looks identical to the pics sorry not a pora
