whats this on my snail??

they look like little white volcano mounds and little fan like receptors pop out of them... are they cause for concern? should i take them off the snail shell?

My turbos are covered in critters -- tiny tube worms, barnacles, coraline algae, and pods are forever crawling all over them. Poor snails, I never thought about whether or not their little hitchhikers bother them, I always just assumed they were harmless
