Whats this red thing?!

Hi,
this thing has been growing on a piece of LR for several weeks. It started as a small bubble, then a vase shape, and now it keeps growing "branches" like you see now... getting bigger all the time. If you look closely to the right of its base, you can see the start of another.
Thanks for any help- its hard to search for something when you have absolutely no idea what to look for!

Possibly Dictyota macro algae.

I also vote for macroalgae. Completely harmless.

Hey thanks! I think it is Dictyota. I've found a pic on google that is green which looks very similar, but haven't found a red one yet.

I have this type as well, but only in my tank with no hermits. They eat it.
