I recently had gotten a bangaii and a blue green chromis. Both look healthy. bangaii is still not eating, but the blue green chromis seems to love the food. Anyways, the chromis has been hiding at first, but has started to get out during feeding. now I notice a small fuzzy-ish white dot on her fin. I am still glad to catch that. I am pretty sure its not ich or velvet. The dot is larger, and is only on the tip of the right fin. what is it? and can I cure it with regular water changes, healthy food, clean enviroment etc.?

Note: wild caught Bangaii cardinals rarely eat and rarely survive.

Humblefish: thanks, the white dot looks like a small lymphocystis. I will make sure the qt is regularly clean. I have also been feeding various food and soak them in selcon, zoe, garlic, so that should help.

snorvich: I didn't realize that I had possibly gotten a wild caught one when I got it. But then I remembered about the wild caught issues and such. So I hope the bangaii does eat. I tried giving it some Mysis, brine etc. it eats then spits it back out. i am not certain, but I think I saw it eat something. Hopefully it can take in frozen food. Thanks for the note though.
