Vermetid snail.

It doesn't move, it's just there, have to look through older pics to see if it's getting bigger.

Vermitid snails don't crawl.
They send out a mucous web to catch floating particles and suck them back in.
For the most part it's harmless but too many of them can irritate corals and cause them to not open.

Thx, I googled them, obviously I had no idea what they were. Thank you for clarifying. It's the only one I've seen, think it has always been on that coral. Anyone well versed in removing em?

You can just snap off the tube, and that will sometimes work, or you can pull the frag out of water and put a dab of cyanoacrylate glue in the opening of the tube to plug it. That is a sure fix. Another solution is to inject Joe's juice (kalk paste) into the tube of the vermetid snail. That is also very effective.

So took out the hammer today and added a dab of glue on the tube, after putting him back in the tank, he's opening up, and this stuff is coming out? Ideas?

Mesenterial filaments?
Believe that's what they are called but in any case I think they're from an injury. Think blood from a wound. If you set the coral on it's side while you were working on it you may have punctured the flesh.
It's not really too serious if the coral is healthy but an iodine dip won't hurt.

Thank you, it had a Vermilion snail on it that I glued shut. That was right after I glued it, and there was a lot of stuff from the snail in it. So far it seems to be better.
