WHat's this?

I recently took out big pieces of LR from the tank and brooke em up to smaller pieces...and i saw this fell out of one of the rocks...

I can only see it open during the night...it extents some kind of white tenticle when it's open...

any ideas?

not sure how old this thread is but I have something just like this in my tank to and had the same question, here's some more pictures, any info would be nice
