what's this

Anyone know what this is? It is an almost transparent circular thing with white tips.

Has it been there all along? It looks like and anemone but even more like a coral that comes on live rock often. I think they call it a cup coral.

We don't know how long it has been there, it does kinda resemble a small anemone.

It probably is an anemone. Does it have a hard skeleton or is all soft?

Do you have any Tampa bay rock? Looks like whay they call a cup coral to me also. TB rock has a lot of them is why I ask. Funny thing is it looks like a clear anemonie but is called a cup and suposedly harmless. If you see irritation on the brain I would just scratch it off with a exacto.
