Whats up with the "do nothing" frags?

I have various kinds of SPS that are growing, have nice color and good polyp ext. This has been the case for about 2 years, I do have 2 stag frags (not sure of the acro. species) that look good exactly the same as when I got 'em a year ago, good color, good polyp ext. and absolutly no growth. I have about 12 other frags that have grown quite a lot, but these 2 are on pause. Anyone ever have this type of situation? what did you do to wake up the frag? I don't want to change too much, since everything else is doing very well.

My friend has this situation as well, I don't think its that uncommon. It is however frustrating. These are the things i have done throughout the year to try and get these corals to do something: Moved to different spots in the tank, coral feedings in the day as well as at night, tried different bulb temps, increased WC frequency to 10-15% weekly, increased tank flow to 45x turnover, increased photoperiod/decreased photoperiod, dipped in coral dissinfectant a few times...nothing.
