What's up with the shrimp?

I think I hurt this guy about a week ago while aquascaping. He molted about a week ago and has been walking weird since then. He just stays in one spot most of the time and then goes psycho. I really thought he was going to die, but the shrimp keeps going

This certainly isn't ordinary for these animals. There can be a number of causes for this, but I wouldn't even venture a guess, as I have almost no experience with shrimp ethology and pathology.

looks to me like he's missing his back legs?Had to watch the video a couple of times to pick that up.

Yeah it kind of does look like some of his back legs are missing, thats probably why its swimming so weird or walking. I think it might be ok if there aren't any predators in the tank that may harm it and if it gets a couple more molts in. If you have any strong water motion, that could give it a problem as its trying to walk. Just keep it well fed and safe, and I think it might be ok. Good luck!

Thanks...he definitely molted a few days ago. I think I somehow injured him while aquascaping, but if not could he have lost some legs during molting? Has anyone had this happen?

I thought for sure he was a gonner, but he just keeps on kicking

One of the front arms of my cleaner shrimp was partially chipped off, but it has healed perfectly after two weeks. Considering that yours is more damaged, I'm just guessing maybe a month to 1 3/4 months until full recovery. But there still are chances of death. It may be better to seperate it, but that could also stress it.
