whats wrong with my clam

well i have this here clam, switched from crappy lighting( 6x65w pc) to my overdriven t5s about 3 months ago, before the switch he stated do get this discoloration,as shown in the pictures, and hasnt recovered.

what is it and how do i make it better

water params, nirtite, amonia, phos, 0, nitrate 5, sg 1.025, temp 77-79, CA 470,Alk 10, all with salifert

well it didnt start doing this until the last month and a half under the pc's, now it is under overdriven t5's. so i am hoping that it will get better, been under the new lights for a few months now. not getting any worse though .

It doesn't look bad at all...I agree....just give it time. If it's not, I'd move it up as high as possible and if under 3" be sure it's getting good regular feedings of live phyto (not a bad idea to feed even if over 3")
