what's wrong with my colt

Everything has been fine with this coral up until a day ago. each day it seemed to be getting bigger than it just stopped opening and looks like this now all tank params seem to be in check all other corals doing well any suggestions would be appreciated.

I too have declining colts seems no one will answer in this forum. I have since lost two and my other two are going south. I'm trying to figure out how to do a coral dip but not sure what chemicals I need to do this....researching!

2week a go my colt... look like in you pic

I thing why coral sick ??
then..... I read many article on wet web media for soft coral disease

I thing my colt is infect ... and don't know what to do to keep my coral.

I try to cure ..it

1. cut out all dead tissue by scissors

2. Dip with lugol's (iodine) ..at 1X dose for 10min

3. let it back to tank ....place on high current

and redo Dip every 1-2 day (I dip it 2time)

now my coral is look better ...

Did you test the water? Any changes in chemistry?

I just did a 6 minute dip with Kents Tech D, we will see what happens, will update tommorow.

Did a 2nd Kent's Tech D.....both colts are looking much better. The one that was the worst has reattached to the rock work and is opening up more...hopefully this has done the trick!
