What's wrong with my fish?

Hi, I have had two fish die in two days and now a 3rd is looking ill. I don't know what's wrong with them. My tank parameters are normal and I did a water change last night just to see if it helped. I bought these fish 2 weeks ago from Bluezoo....they looked healthy and normal for two weeks and then the day after the warrantee expired...I noticed the anthias had faded splotches and seemed distressed....an hour later it died...next day the same thing happened with my angelfish and now my yellow eyed khol tang is looking stressed and has the faded spots....I've never had this problem before...any clue what's wrong?

Did you quarantine? Please describe behavior of fish. The time line suggests velvet or uronema. The physical description suggests the latter.

I didn't quarantine because I didn't have any other fish in the tank and they seemed all healthy and came from the same place...guess I should have. They were all acting fine...interacting with us, eating...just seemed fine. I was really happy with my purchase and it seemed to come on sudden...they get faded, stressed looking, heavy breathing, the splotches on lighter color and then they die...it's pretty quick once they start looking sick. I've never had fish die of disease before..guess I got lucky...so I'm unsure what to do.

I am hoping it is velvet as opposed to uronema. If so, a six week fallow period will eliminate it from your tank. After the fact, I cannot tell which parasite you incurred. After six weeks, you would need to get a test fish that remains in your quarantine tank for 4 weeks to insure it is clean and then put into your display to test it.

ok thanks for your help...sure does suck to watch my sweet fish die and I can't do anything to help them

If you have the pure powder form of chloroquine phosphate, that would be worth a shot if you have a spare tank for treatment.
