What's wrong with my Orange Spotted Goby???

I bought this fish about 2 weeks ago. This picture was taken about 3 days ago:

I just took these pictures minutes ago:

There is a purplish/green "bruise" developing on his face and the top of his body is turning brown. His "whiteness" in the first picture is fading away. I tried searching but couldn't find anything. All the other fish in my tank seems to be doing fine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

do you target feed him? He may have trouble getting food b/c he can't compete for it.

There's always food going down to the sand where he sifts it up. Is this what happens when fish don't eat though?

check your ammonia and nitrate levels..could be water quality but it does also look very skinny.

Yes, check the water. Also, have you see him eat, not just see the food hit the bottom of the tank?
