What's wrong with my palys

I have 37 gallon cube and I have something wrong with my palys. Some of them have white on them and just about all of them the edges of them are curled over. My lfs told me it could be the temperature. The tank runs a little warm I would say in 81 to 83 range. They were doing fine a little bit ago. My lfs had a used 1/15 hp chiller for $175 I thought it was a good price so now I have a chiller! I have other corals they seem to be doing fine

That could be bacterial infection, wrong light, shock, predators...

I want to say it's the light, but can't be sure just like that.
If you have T5s and leave them on only for 8 or 10 hrs a day max. isn't a light problem.
If you have LEDs, then... you'll have to figure out how to deal with the light.
The temperate and the LED light together could be the problem too.
You resolved the problem with the temperature, I hope...
Temperature can't be too cold either!!!
78°F would be good.

Look for bugs...
If everything is very well balanced and they still go down the hill could be bacterial.
It's not easy to diagnose over the internet, specially without solid info.

What lights you have over the tank? ebay chinese leds box light . I had no problems before I had the lights over a year. They could stay ok for a while and then start giving problems. Those fixtures are inexpensive but they have power. That kind of stuff happens all the time when running LEDs. That's why I don't recommend LEDs. The chinese LEDs from Ebay aren't that bad. it's just because they are actually LED lights. can happen with any brand. Try to dim both blue and white lights for a while...
Water chemistry params? What should I test for?
Nitrates, phosphates, alkalinity, magnesium, calcium, pH, salinity,...

That could be bacterial infection, wrong light, shock, predators... How do they get shock? Theres no body picking on them.How do they get a bacterial infection could it be the wrong food.Shock is mainly lights or sudden changes in water quality, for example the use of GFO or GAC. I don't recommend GFO. Wrong food, related to bacterial infection, could be caused by live food or excessive frozen food, with high organic nutrients and/or phosphates.

Please test your water...
The problem could be simply high alkalinity or something like that.

I think the best to do right now would be to test the water params, bring down your lights a bit and wait for the polyps to get used to the temperature.

Alkalinity around 9.0 would be great, ca 380 and mg 1360 should be good.
Your params aren't too bad!!
Don't bring alk higher than that..

Leave them alone for a while with the light lower in intensity.
They should get back to normal or at least better in a week.
That would proof the problem is the light.
If they get worse soon you'll need to dip them because it could be bacterial infection.

It could be the deadly zoa pox.Sometimes it happens when the zoanthus are streesed verry similar to the ich that affect stressed fish.If its zoa pox then all you zoanthus might die.A good cure and tested by me is to take them out if they start to melt ,buy furazolidone pills and smash a pill into a jar with litle saltwater then with a small painting brush spread furazolidone over the affected areas.Let for half an hour then rinse with a litle saltwater.You dont want to get much furazolidone into your tank because it can kill all the beneficial bacteria that does the filtration.Try not to spread much of the furazolidone liquid onto the live rock ,just on the coral.Repeat once a week if necesarely.
