Whats Wrong with my Toadstool

I got this toadstool on Monday and of course he was not happy being moved but yesterday I noticed a hole in the middle of him and he is slumped over. I have checked all my settings and they appear to be ok. I am new to keeping corals and don't know if it is normal or he is dying.

Try blowing on the spot with a turkey baster. I had something similar happen to mine. When I did that dead tissue came bursting out. Mine was on the edge so I cut the bad spot out. Two days later and it is expanding fully again. Yours is in the middle. If it does not go away or gets larger, you could cut it down the middle then cut out the dead spot. Then you would have 2 if it lives.

Worst case, you can alwase lop off the top at the base and let grow back.

So just blowing out the dead tissue may help it? So if it does not get any worse it may recover on its own? When you say cut down the middle you mean top to bottom? Do you now of any photos that show this done?

If i was to lob the top off as you say do you know of pics of that
