That little spot could be an injury. But the coral looks great so I would not worry about it.

I agree it looks fine and that one spot could have been a fish nipping at it.

What fish do you have in your tank?

I have no fish in the tank right now cause my DT has ich. Everyone is in qt. If it's an injury could it be from blue legged hermits? I have a small brown algae bloom and they won't touch it only my snails do.

I only have snails blue legged and red legged hermits.

Should I feed the hermits something so they don't go after my corals?

I wonder if reproduction has anything to do with this? Much like a Kenya tree dropping branches, only this is a tentacle.

I had this happen with my first torch it's an injury got twisted around a bunch. it will come off and form a new head or twist around and slowly heal

That's nothing. If it was mad it would retract.
