What's wrong with this Accro?

Hi,
Had this green accro since 6-7 months.
Great PE and growth since I got it.
Noticed today that parts of it have lost tissue (no active sloughing like in RTN) and the skeleton looks green instead of white just no tissue on it. See blue arrow on 1st pic.
also parts of it are thick dark brown Red arrow.
Checked it for flatworms but didn't see any.
it's under a Gieseman 22k 250 W and a couple of Supplemental T5 14K and actinic.
The MH is just over a year old could that be the cause?
had an alk and Ca drop recently from 9 till 7.6 for alk over 1 month
and 420 to 380Ca this has been corrected over 1 week. and I'm dosing 10 cc more of 2 parts.
had some nitrates and phosphates but these were brought down to 5 for nitrates and 0.03 for phophates weeks ago.
no change of lighting or flow
Any idea on what is causing this? should I dip it (it's encrusted over it's plug but not over the rocks so I can take it out for a dip)
Do yo uthink I should frag it to save the remaining parts?
Thanks for any info

I think you should dip it for sure with some AEFW meds. Just to be on the safe side; it's often very hard to see them in a tank. That coral has lots of places for nasty critters to hide in. From the looks of it to me something killed the coral in that area my guess is a crab or another coral; but I wouldn't rule out pests untill you dip.

You should be treating all incoming corals anyways.

will go with revive and hope it does make a difference.
Would fragging a couple of healthy pieces of it cause more stress on it? would prefer to have a backup frag from it just in case the colony doens't make it? or will they suffer the same fate if it's RTN or STN?
Thanks.
