What's wrong with this coral?

I'd be really appreciative if someone wouldn't mind telling me what I should do for this poor coral. Thanks!

Starting to RTN. Test the water and make sure it is getting good flow, good light, and that no other SPS is touching it. If it's a new addidtion, contact who you got it from to see what lights they were using so you don't underlight it or overlight it.

Thanks guys. He isn't a new addition, I've had him about 4 months now. I haven't really moved it much either. There's a small possibility something may have stung it. I will try reef dip. Thanks!

Drastic changes in flow, temp, salinity, pH etc etc can contribute to RTN.

If it keeps up you may want to consider fraggin the healthy portions in an attempt to salvage it.

It was either stung by something with long sweepers, or you had a starfish chow down on it, such as a blue Asterina. Do you happen to have a Clown Goby?

It COULD have been my torch. I dipped him and moved him over. No starfish or clown gobies in that tank. Only a hippo tang, flame gobis, yashia gobis, hermit crabs, couple small mithrax crabs, one clam and a few snails. For corals, the only one I think that could do this is the torch.

No temp, flow or major parameter changes either, so I'm rather stumped.

Check your alk if it is out of wack it will kill sps quick. If you have water reading you should post them . Is this the only sps you have?

Yes, this is the only sps I have. The parameters are:

ph 8.3
ammonia 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 2
alk 4.6
calcium 430
salinity 1.023
