Hi,

a) What's your favorite fish?
b) Why?
c) Is it reef safe?
d) It it aggressive?

This will eventually help me/us stock my/our tank.

Thank you :D

i just love the scribble angel. Not sure if they are reef safe . Not sure if they are to aggressive but as with most angels i would not want to mix them. I jut love the colors on them. Would love to get one but with the way the economy is going i cant see paying $100 for a fish right now. And i ony have a 54 and would not want to put it in any thing less then 120.

this is a horrible question to ask as i have about 10 favorite fish easy :) actually they are all my favorite. .. bump that up to 60 favorite fish

1. Regal Angel
2. <------ do you really need to ask?
3. semi reef safe. Only a problem w/the really meaty LPS.
4. It's only been aggressive to the other regal i just got while in QT. i think it's because the tank was only 46gal. When i moved them to the 225. No problems so far(crossing my fingers) I'll like to add 2 more though.

other favorite fish....Moorish idol, Chaetadon Semilarvatus(aka golden butterfly), bandit angel, bellus angel, sunburst anthias, laboutei wrasse, flame boxfish(cold water fish), wartskin frogfish.

1-Tie between Firefish and Scooter Blenny.
2-They're really hyper and fun to watch.
3-Both are 100% reef safe.
4-The firefish will harass other firefish, but the scooters never bother anything.

1. Imperator Angel
2. Just so amazing! Both juveniles and adults
3. It's semi reef safe i would say. Crossing my fingers for the acans.
4. Only towards other similiar angels.

1. Spiny Box Puffer Fish
2. So much personality and very unique appearance
3. Not at all reef safe.
4. Very against inverts, but extremely passive with regards to other fish.

For a 90 gallon?

1. Purple tang
2. It's purple...very very few truly purple fish
3. yes
4. yes - last fish to add.

this is a tough question becuase i too have a few favorites but my fav that i have is my conde's fairy wrasse
why do i like it..well red is my favorite color but i love to watch him display and change colors so fast
it is reef safe
i have not seen it be aggressive but every fish is different
now my favorite fish that i don't have is the candy basslet not sure what the latin is..very bright colored compared to others like the swissgaurd or swales..the are reef safe..don't know if they are aggerssive or not and i have never seen one for sale but when i do i will jump on it!!!!!

yea he is pretty aggressive towards the other fish. Im going to have to get rid of him or just put him in my 200gallon fish only.

Hi,

a) Starry Night Blenny
b) Mine is so cute and I find him in the weirdest places in the tank
c) Yes
d) Not at all.

Favorite fish I have ever had would be the Orange throated pike blenny pictured in my avatar. Unfortunately the last one I had died about 2yrs ago and have not been able to find another anywhere.

Of my current fish I like my Jawfish (RingEye, Pastel) and Angels (Potters/Venustus). To me both Angels and Jawfish have great personalities, very curious and smart as well...

a) emperor angelfish has already been mentioned - another one of my favorites is Australian harlequin tuskfish

b) Why? colorful, nice (but not too big) size, great personality, unique, a showpiece fish, cool behaviors

c) Is it reef safe? yes, except for shrimps, crabs, etc. mine is okay with larger hermit crabs and hasn't bothered the few snails in the tank

d) It it aggressive? not at all. it looks menacing, with blue pointy teeth, and a husky build, but it is very peaceful. it can stand up to moderately aggressive fish such as large angels, puffers, the more peaceful triggers, but is not at all an aggressor. I had one with a smallish tomato clown and a royal gramma for years, and it never bothered them. I'd be cautious with really small fish.

a) Algae blenny
b) I just got him, and has a ton of personality, and hes eating the algae on my back glass.
c) Yes
d) Not at all, hes an awesome little guy.

1) Ventralis Anthias
2)one of the prettiest anthias in my opinioon
3)reef safe
4)everything i read says not aggressive, but i dont have any experience with them yet
