I've always loved the mesmirizing movement of soft corals. Therefore I love all the xeniids, especially the pulsing varieties. I like the green nepthia for their color and movement. I think ricordea are some of the jewels of the sea for their striking color. I also like the Tyree toadstool and the Gary M "pincushion" toadstool. And gorgs, can't forget gorgs, and sinularia, lobophyton, zoos etc etc. etc. OK, I admit, I like just about all softies. From what I understand, one of the most striking underwater sights in the tropical reefs are the scleronepthea and dendronepthia "forests" in the "Rainbow Reef" area in Fiji. Unfortunately these corals are extremely difficult to keep in captive reefs.
