I think mine would have to be the neon green centered clove polyps. or Florida Ricordia...lol
 
My favorite is the Tyree LE Neon Green Toadstool Leather (Sarchophyton sp.)

That leather and my rics are definitely my favorite softies...
 
I've always loved the mesmirizing movement of soft corals. Therefore I love all the xeniids, especially the pulsing varieties. I like the green nepthia for their color and movement. I think ricordea are some of the jewels of the sea for their striking color. I also like the Tyree toadstool and the Gary M "pincushion" toadstool. And gorgs, can't forget gorgs, and sinularia, lobophyton, zoos etc etc. etc. OK, I admit, I like just about all softies. From what I understand, one of the most striking underwater sights in the tropical reefs are the scleronepthea and dendronepthia "forests" in the "Rainbow Reef" area in Fiji. Unfortunately these corals are extremely difficult to keep in captive reefs.
 
hahaha yea if we could all keep silk coral reefs I'm sure we would have them. they are so sweet but rarely seen in the LFS. Good luck on getting your tank to look like that!
 
a field of pulsing pom-pom zenia like nate used to have. I also used to really like the Garf long polyp sarco when the polyps got 3+" long
 
I really dig the Rasta that I picked up from NYC with Vince a couple years ago. Nate...I would love a piece of the Tyree LE Neon Green Toadstool Leather. Vince is taking care of my system for me so get one to him and I'll have Carol pay you for it......
