When and Who is hosting the next meetin?

My first computer didn't even have a disk drive.. Had a TRS-80 model 1, then got a tape drive about 2 months later.

Hey I remember the Trash 80s. I started my computer career on them in the 80s whilst in high school. My first PC was a Commodore 64. I started with the awesome cassette drive and finally moved up to the 5.25" floppy drive. Replaced it with a 128, which is still in my basement. Anyone interested?

+1 for the C64. I have had most of those old systems at one point in time or another. All the way from the coleco vision computer module, the Vic 20, the lowly but powerful TI99 oh and the list goes on.
An LED project sounds good...Soldering irons and Rosin core for all!

well the thought has crossed my mind. Even with seriously cutting back my electric bill has gone up at least $90 a month and I don't think there done raising. :-(

Aren't there other companies you can get electicity from now? I thought there was going to be like 2 others that you could go to. I can't help you much because I don't have PP&L, just remember hearing something about it on the news last year.

Yeah have you looked at switching companies? You'll still give PP&L their cut though, and the led project might be of interest.

Yeah we had one other company to choose from and they claimed a 10% savings but i figured if PP&l was raising rates anyways and the supply the power anyhow the savings would be only a fraction of the 10%, who really knows what you would actually save my guess is not much?
