When are the 250W XM15K's coming in?

XM still seems to be waiting for the 15K's. I'm going to send them a message to see if they have any ETA's on them.

Thank you very much !!!! I was just about to order some 14K Phoenix bulbs, but I am going to wait a few more weeks....

Hi,

Yes, we'll carry the 15K XM's as well. So soon as they are available, we'll order a couple cases of each size.

If you have a DE fixture in 250w though, I think it would be tough to beat the 14K Phoenix bulb.

For SE, the 14K is only available as Aquaconnect which is really expensive, excellent bulb but way too pricey. Odd thing is phoenix doesn't make the SE bulb for Aquaconnect. We are trying to find the actual manufacture so we can get a better deal and get the SE price down, but so far haven't had any luck.

So if you can swing the money, the AC is a good high quality choice. For lower price, we have been pretty pleased with 14K hamilton, or wait and see how the 15K XM does. Maybe we'll have something going on AC 14K by then too.

Ok, they only make the phoenix 14K in DE. I guess I will wait another 3 weeks until I can buy the XM15K's through you guys.

Thanks alot guys, your customer service was one of my main reasons for spending $700 at your booth this past year at MACNA-Boston.
 
I'm looking for a 250W DE bulb that will flouresce my flourescent green corals more than my 14k Phoenix does. Any recommendations? I will move to 20k if that is what it takes to get a better flourescing affect.
 
The 20K AB DE should give you some more glow on your green corals but you'll loose a little brightness compared to 14K. Or 20K XM DE, but it's dim looking I think compared to the AB 20K, but is more blue/purple in color.

The other option is keep 14K and try and rig up some actinic VHO or other supplement with blue true actinic.
 
The response I got for Jason at XM Lighting was they were going to release all the 15k EXCEPT the 250watt on 5/1/05. It will follow shortly there after.

Jeesshh....that's a bummer. I wonder what he means by shortly there after?
 
WEll It seems liek its an Ever changing Date... It was Nov - Early December.. Then it was 2-1-05 and last I head was a week or so Ago and that was 5-1-05...

XM 15k bulbs are Here now.. I Dont know if PA has them But Hellolights just sent me an email stating that they have them... Sorry Jason.. I dont mean to step on you shoes just wanted to let those who are waiting for them know they are out now.. Please forgive me..
