This info can really improve the chances you get accurate help, and get the help much faster, if all the info is provided up front.

Sometimes the answer is very obvious, as long as you have the info needed to evaluate the situation.

Hello everyone :wavehand:, I can not stress enough the importance of sharing with us every relative detail as it relates to your tank, when seeking help for an issue you are having. What we need is for you to paint us a detailed picture of your tank. Please, please, do not post a thread and say, "Something's wrong with my ________". All we know from this type of post is that there is something wrong with your _____________. No one can help you with such limited information. We are not there and we need you to submit everything in the link above and more.

I suggest sitting in front of your tank with a pen and paper and tell us what you see so we can assist you. Often time is critical so we need you to help us to help you most expeditiously.

Also, don't worry about how it sounds. Don't think or feel that you're gonna sound dumb, we were all new at this at one time or another. If you need help gathering your thoughts, use the search button to read what others have said on the topic and then post your question. Or, you can Google the key point or topic of your question. You might even find the answer and then you can come back here and tailor a more specific question to receive even more feedback. Either way, just say it. There is no reason to ever feel afraid. If you need help with something, these guys/gals are willing to step up and assist you if they can. Again, please provide as much information as possible to paint that picture for us for a speedy reply.
