i have a 1 1/2 month old, 36" 30 gal tank. with 2x96 orbit PC lighting. going to buy a gold stripe marron clown soon (if i can find it in LFS). so when can i add a BTA for it? wait until my tank is 3 months old or 6 months?

standard estimate is 6 months for any anemone, but tanks mature at different rates. Some might be faster but many will be slower. Be sure that you are experienced enough to keep water quality excellent. Anemones are relatively challenging although bubble tips are among the easiest.
The clown will do very well without an anemone for as long as necessary.
