When does a "FOWLR" become a "Reef tank"??
1 coral, 2 corals, 2 corals???
I have what started out as a FOWLR 30g. I currently have 2 false perc and a sixline wrasse with some live rock.
I also have
a few ricordias
2 zoos
some mushrooms
star polyps
pulsing xenia
a small sarco
a green nepthea
some other softies (anthelia?)
a hammer (2 heads)
frogspawn (3 heads)
Most of these hitched in on the rock. I did buy and trade for a few.
So base don the count I have more coral than fish!!
I am upgrading to a larger tank (minimum 90g up to maybe 150g) and want to have some fish that are generally listed as not reef safe such as butterflyfish, or triggers, or angelfish.
Which of the corals (or all) would I have to get rid of to keep some of the normally non-reef safe fish. I realize I could get reef safe fish but there are some I really like that aren't.
Can I just add the fish and see what they nip at and what they don't? Some of the xenia and anthelia could use a little shearing anyway.
