I purchased a juvenille golden bar maroon clown at the lfs in January; now, he's marooning up pretty nicely but I still have yet to see gold on his stripes. Can anyone offer some insights?
no way. at about the age of 12 months (for the fish) its head stripe will start turning yellow, really light at first, then it gets darker and the next one starts. mine wasent even an inch yet when this started.
