When I die this is what i want to do with my self

Dave

Are you asking for donations to pay the $2500 to $6500? If you wait too long the prices may go up. You should probably pay up front to lock in the price - you never know when you will need these accommodations.

Maybe we could start a group buy.

Anybody interested?

From the website:
“I thought we would get my three kids together and we would sprinkle their father’s ashes in the ocean. But this is doing it in a more identifiable fashion, where the kids can actually see where he is. Not in a mausoleum or Arlington Cemetery, but outdoors.”
Kinda narcissistic and hubristic, amongst other things... The decline of coral reefs should not be thought of as primarily an engineering problem to be solved with personally engraved manmade structures. Making cement, then transporting it on land and then on boat is part of the problem, not the solution. When you die, have your remains cremated and tossed in the ocean and call it a day. That will reduce the carbon footprint of disposing with your carcass and reduce your land-use footprint (literally) compared to burial.

My $.02, keep the change.

I kinda think in a weird way they are cool. And a loved one can go dive to see your resting spot in the future. A little more of a permenent resting place than just sprinkled in the ocean. I think they are very expensive though! But in comparison to a grave plot, coffin, traditional service fee, vault and stone I guess the price is reasonable if not cheaper and not using up land space. I often have wondered how can we keep buring folks in traditional graveyards because the land is bound to run out one day. I know it would take longer than the world may last but still.... this is a pretty neat alternative :) In a weird kinda way!
