my husband and i have been talking. and the question arises "what size is a pico, and what size is a nano?" i didn't even know there was a pico. how hard is one to keep up?
i believe pico means any tank 2.5 and smaller, and a nano tank means anything smaller than a 29. you will get different answers depending on who you ask.
i have 2 5 gallon tanks, and because theyre the extent of my experience, i dont see them as picos.
if you talk to someone who has a 100 gallon, the words pico and nano are going to mean something totally different (like death chamber lol).
On nano-reef.com, a pico is like 5 and under, maybe 2.5 and under, and some post their tanks in the members forum 40 and under, but some put their 40s in the large tank sub forum. Id say a nano is 30 and under, with 30-40 being the gray area.
