When is IMAC?

DavidM -- Of course I am to blame. I failed you. I heard that these conventions can be a little boring for us clownfish guys. Very technical indeed and dry with little if any talk about ornamentals. Yes I know that we can use this info and apply it to ornamentals.

Edgar -- no problems :D

I looked at the site, doesn't seem to indicate where it goes next year, any clue?

It's not next year, it happens every other year :D It only happenned this year because of US Aquaculture helping it along. With the small attendance this year, it may not happen again, but who knows. At the end of the confenrence, they had hundeds of tote bags left, which were ment for attendees. They gave each of us vendors a ton of those totes :D

The confernece may be called MO, but that doesn't mean it has to be on breeding MO ;) All the MO topics were inline with what MO represents.

OK, somebody at MO needs to do some math. :D Poor attendance? Maybe poor promotion is to blame ? I certainly would have gone if I had known about it

Peter, pav is an algae that smells great, I love using that stuff :) Get on seahorse.org, lot 'o brits there who can tell you where to get it in Europe if it's not commonly found. Talk to Susan, KG or Marc, they will know. Oh and tell 'em I sent ya so they know I'm still alive :D

Hmmm.... I thought it was sooner than that... might be able to swing it. If I do it's gonna be a low budget trip, they got pb&j in Chicago? :D

I've done IMAC on a budget the two previous years. It is certainly possible, though being local (WI) helps. Rooming with someone helps too. ANd yes, one year I did pack sandwiches for myself! :D

Huh, even when I didn't work for Reed, I got announcement emails. Granted, every company I've worked for in the MOI has had an employee/owner that has given talks at MO since it's inception :D

You have to know where to look for these sort of things. Every MO has been announced on Reefs.org's Industry Behind The Hobby many months in advance. Typically the announcement fellows their call for papers, which is also posted to IBTH.
