when snails die do I remove them or let my fish and crabs have it?

I am new and don't know this. My snail just dropped off the glass dead. It's huge. Should I just throw it away or leave it to my fish who seem to be hungry? Should I be concerned that a snail I bought a few months ago died? My water parameters are o.k

was it a margarita snail?? when i first setup my tank i had 5 margaritas... out of the aprox year that it has been setup the 5 margarita snails were the only things to die. after some research on margaritas i have seen claims that they are actually a cooler water species that is short lived in a reef tank. when they died i just left them in the tank to be consumed. i did get a lot of hair algae during this time... not sure if leaving them in contributed or not.

I would leave it. Hermit Crabs and Bristle Worms will have a feast.

Just pull them out. If you want your other tank inhabitants to eat, feed.
