I'll be recieving my profilux standalone doser soon, and I was wondering what the most optimal time to dose each dosage would be?
Previously I was just doing a dosage once a day of two part, but now with the profilux, I can do as little as 1ml a dosage. In the spirits of trying to keep parameters as constant as possible, I was wondering what the most optimal dose time would be.
I could probably figure it out by testing at regular intervals through a few days, but what is the usage/depletion curve look like for Ca and Alk along with other elements? I'd have to imagine that Ca/Alk usage peaks at some point in the day (or maintains a higher level) and is lower at some point (ie night). If that is the case, then dosing at regular intervals wouldn't be as good as dosing to match the demands of the time.
Any ideas? Or should I just stick to dosing two or three times a day spread out (lights on, midday, off)?
