When to move or do you

I have moved several of mine once I see they are healthy looking. Sometimes I drill a hole in the rock and glue the frag plug in and sometimes I break the stem off the plug and glue it to the rock.

How do you get it to stick if it's still wet? or better yet, how do you get it to stick if its in the water (the rock) and you can't remove it?

take a pastic disposable knife, put a little bit of super glue gel on the tip and dab/smear it onto the rock in the tank you where you want to mount the frag. then add a bit of superglue gel to the bottom of the frag and press against the site you primed. helps to kinda twist it slowly back and fourth till you feel it firm up.

happy gluing

Wow!!! Big smack on my own forehead!!!

That plastic knife trick will solve a huge problem in my coral-placing life!

I use the sandwich technique (not sure if it's actually called that). Put a dab of superglue on the bottom of the plug, then a ball of reef safe 2 part epoxy stick, then another dab of superglue on top of the epoxy. Always works for me, but don't twist just press and walk away

I've found that prepping the rock with a toothbrush has worked really well for me. It allows the glue/epoxy to grab hold of the actual rock and not bacterial slime or algae.
