I got a BTA a couple months ago and was bleached like crazy. Tentacles are even clear. I have been trying to nurse it back to health over this period. But it's tents aren't sticky and it can't even hold food most of the time. But is FAST to respond if I touch it.
It located itself directly under the center of my 250 MH under a rock. And likes to sun itself. But haven't seen a bit of tanning yet in 2 months.
This may be something else but I doubt it. When I turn off my return pump to do a water change and turn it back on a bunch of white stringy stuff comes out when I plug it back in. And this has never happened before. I got a bleached LTA recently and is thriving and became as tan as can be. But this BTA one seems very alive but maybe lost ALL of it's algae.
I was gonna remove it tonight but when I touched it it went crazy and shrunk up. It is very active but has no color. I would feel bad taking him out if there was some kinda chance. Any ideas?
