Hi all! I will be vacationing in Gulf Shores next month and would love to spend a day hitting the lfs. Can anyone reccomend where to go?

If you haven't made the trip down here yet and can let me have an idea what you're looking for I might be able to help which stores would be best to visit. I live about 5 miles north of Gulf Shores. You could hit all of the stores in a day, but it would be lots of driving and a full day. :)
I might be able to narrow it down with an idea of what kind of corals/fish/etc. you like.

I would love to come home with a nice colony or two of zoas. I've also been looking for an acan lord.

Thanks for your help! We're leaving next weekend.

Progressive Marine is a pretty high end store. Lots of quality stuff and pretty neat SPS selection. They are located behind Lowes in Tillman's Corner. Also, I believe they open around 2:00.

Fat Fish in Daphne has a 2500 gallon set up...pretty neat. Last time I was there they had some pretty neat zoas and blastos. Also a few acan lords I believe. Their fish didn't look too hot though.

Just in case you want to stop by a few shops on your way...

You might want to stop by Petsville in Prattville just off of I-65 on hwy 14 across from Dairy Queen (2nd Prattville exit if your traveling southbound).

Aquarium Fantasies is in Montgomery just off the Atlanta Hwy. They have a lot of good stuff too.

God Bless,

Fat Fish has 2 Acans in now, I got one few weeks ago and am getting it used to more light so it's starting to color up. They don't have a ton of color but are healthy. I was there today, haven't been by Progressive Marine in a while but they're pretty consistant with their stock.

Sent you a pm.
