I am raising Banggai Cardinalfish, I have tried everything and only eat live tiger pods I run out and I cant find a store who carry them. Before you suggest live baby brine shrimp, they do not have high nutritional value for raising cardinal fish. I really appreciate any suggestion. Thanks

The only store that I know carries live feeder stuff other than Brine Shrimp is Exotic Aquatics on oakland park just east of I95. Call them up they might be able to order some for you if they don't carry them

mine love frozen blood worms

You can try frozen cyclop-eze that is enriched with selcon. Also baby brine shrimp are pretty good if you feed them the first 12 hours after they hatch. They still have the yolk sac that is good. I have two batches of bangai's that are eating just that and growing very well.

I don't have Bangai's, but I have 3 Pajamas. The one i got recently eats frozen mysis at feeding time. The other two only feed at night. They hang around the moonlight and snap up pods that come by. If you have pods or mysis in your tank, keep an eye on your Bangai's after dark.

he is actually trying to raise up some baby cardinals, when they are adults they can eat the frozen mysis, but as a baby, they are too small to eat the mysis. exotic aquatic is the only place in south florida that sells the tigger pods. give them a week or two to get their shipment in.
