I just got a quieter fan from a computer store. They are standard 60mm fans. The wiring is tough though. You need to souder the wires together.

You should solder the wires, but you can get away with a couple wire nuts and some electrical tape.

The lower the db raiting the quieter the fan, which makes them more expensive.....

There are lots of different 60mm and 80mm computer fans out there. As far as I remember, the ones at nanotuners are a bit on the expensive side. You don't need anything specifically designed for an aquarim or anything, they all work fine! I bought 3 80mm fans off of bestbyteinc.com, they have a lot of stuff that you could use. As far as wiring goes, you won't have to solder if you don't want to. Just buy a 12V wall adapter at radioshack, connect all of your red fan wires to one lead, all the blacks to another. Then just cap the two wires groups with standard wire screw caps, also available at radioshack.

You can also pick new ones up @ a Frys Electronics... if you have one near.
